Elliot Gipson

Mr. Gipson is a highly regarded entertainment, media and intellectual property attorney.  He has been selected to SuperLawyers (and prior to that Rising Stars) a combined dozen times.  His clients have ranged from celebrities, to publicly traded companies, to sovereign nations.  Mr. Gipson has a hybrid practice, representing film and television professionals, production, and media companies in entertainment and intellectual property transactions as well as those embroiled in copyright, trademark, and other IP related disputes. 

 

Mr. Gipson is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and Duke University, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude.  He earned an EMBA from Quantic.  He began his legal career at Latham & Watkins, before practicing at Gipson Hoffman & Pancione and co-founding Fayer Gipson LLP in 2011.  Mr. Gipson founded Elliot Gipson PC in 2022 and Art Brut Films in 2023.
